Agricultural Waste
The use of fertilizers and pesticides in excess can lead to water pollution. Excess fertilizers entering territorial waters will nourish aquatic plants, like water hyacinth and algae so that it can cover the surface of the water. As a result of sunlight hard into the water so that it turns off the phytoplankton in the water.
The result further, organic waste from algae and water hyacinth will spend dissolved oxygen so fish can not live. While the rest of the pesticides that enter territorial waters can be deadly fish or absorbed by microorganisms and then enter into the food chain.
Residential Waste
The settlement generates waste, such as waste and waste water containing detergent. Large amounts of residential waste that goes into the waters will disrupt the ecosystem of the waters.
In waters, waste decomposed by microorganisms. Due to the decomposition process, the oxygen content in the water is very detrimental to the biota, such as various types of fish that live in these waters.
Most potential residential waste pollute water is detergent. Very hard detergent waste outlined by microorganisms. Detergents containing phosphoric compounds that stimulate the growth of algae and water hyacinth so that its growth is not controlled. As a result the water ecosystem will be disturbed.
